Case Study : Extending a Brand
One of the best known brands in the world, Coca-Cola is less known for its charitable contributions and foundations. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation recognizes high school students with academic excellence and involvement in community service. Scholarships are awarded both on regional and national levels. Given the tone of community initiatives, Molecule Brand Consultants recommended leveraging their brand in a subtle, unobtrusive, and modest way. We designed a diploma and mortarboard in a new configuration, incorporating the company’s recognizable wave as a diploma tie. The Foundaton’s new identity emphasizes scholarship while still recognizing its benefactor. In addition to the logo, Molecule designed the following applications for this identity: posters, promotional kits, award certificates, t-shirts, application forms, and more.
